The JoinX Challenge is a simulated trading evaluation with specific rules and performance targets that traders must meet to prove their skills.

The Two main types of challenges:

Two-Step Challenge:

  • Minimum Trading Days: At least 1 day in Stage 1 and at least 3 days in Stage 2
  • Maximum Drawdown: The maximum total drawdown cannot exceed -10% of the initial account balance. The maximum daily drawdown cannot exceed -6.5% for accounts over $25k and -7.5% for accounts under $25k.
  • Profit Target: The target is 5% of the initial account balance for Stage 1 and 8% for Stage 2


Reward split varies between 50%-90% pending account size.

One-Step Challenge:

This challenge is designed for advanced traders and consists of a single evaluation stage.

  • Minimum Trading Days: At least 1 day
  • Profit target: 10% of the initial account balance
  • Maximum drawdown: total maximum drawdown is -7% of the initial account balance, while daily drawdown is -5%.

Reward split: 70%

When you reach a pre-defined profit target; for example, a 10% total equity gain on a 1-step challenge, you are entitled to ask for a payout. At this point your account is paused until confirmation. Following the approval you can continue to trade.

Yes. You can attempt and pass multiple challenges. Transfers between accounts are not allowed. However, you may only have one User Account (profile) per person and transfers between accounts are not allowed. Violating this rule will result in the closure of your accounts and profile.

A swap is the interest paid or earned for holding a position overnight. On certain days, swaps are charged at triple the usual rate, depending on the asset traded. Traders holding positions overnight should factor this cost into their strategies. For the latest information on specific assets and their conditions, please refer to our website.

Withdrawals may incur fees from third-party payment processors, which are the customer’s responsibility. You are also solely responsible for any taxes, duties, or other charges applicable to your commissions under the relevant jurisdiction.

If you fail a challenge, your selected account for the challenge will be closed. The fee paid is non-refundable, but you may start a new Challenge by paying the applicable fee.

These actions are strictly prohibited and may result in account cancellation without refund:
Exploiting service errors knowingly or unknowingly (e.g., wrong prices, update delays)
Using latency arbitrage – profiting from price update delays by trading on faster external data feeds
Manipulating trading, including opposite positions across connected accounts or JoinX entities
Violating JoinX Terms & Conditions or platform rules
Using software, AI, ultra-fast execution, or mass data entry tools for unfair advantage.
Gap trading within 2 hours before market closure when major news/events may affect that market
Trading inconsistent with normal market practices or in a manner that could cause financial or other harm to JoinX (e.g., overleveraging, overexposure, one-sided bets, account rolling)
Allowing third parties to trade on your account

A Monetized Demo Account (also called “Funded Account”) is a simulated trading account provided by a third-party company, Volanza AG, located in Switzerland, to users who have successfully completed a Challenge. This account allows you to perform simulated trading with fictitious funds but with the possibility of earning a commission based on results and data contribution. The profit split percentage is specified in Annex A of the agreement with our Monetized Demo Trading partner.

By accepting the terms, you consent to JoinX sharing your personal and trading data with affiliated entities, including the third-party company that provides the Monetized Demo Account. You acknowledge that this data can be used by the company for its own trading activities without any further consent or compensation to you.

You can pay for your trading challenge using Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Skrill, Revolut, Wise, and major cryptocurrencies. In certain countries, you may also be able to pay with your local currency.
